Life Left Hanging

Almost everyone has experienced a moment in their lives where they didn’t receive the closure or answers they wanted. This show is about airing those thoughts, emotions and even answers you wished you received. The gallery room walls will be covered with sheets of paper with these notions written on them, hanging on clothing line for everyone to see. Each writer is anonymous and has shared a part of their life with each of you. Identity will NOT be revealed.

Being a tactile show, attendees can unclip each page to read them closer as well as there will be an opportunity to leave a donation if any of them resonate with you and would like to own them. Healing can come through learning from another person’s pain.

There will be a table set up at this reception, which will give you the opportunity to place your own grievances in a suitcase and leave them so that you can go back home a little lighter. If you wish, they can be added to the lines.

Light refreshments will be served. In keeping the mission of the studio, no alcohol will be permitted or served.

If you would like to participate in this prior to the reception to add your own pages, please contact Jenice at 817-307-9384. Let’s let go.
