South Dakota will always feel like a home away from home to me. I only lived on the Pine Ridge Reservation a little under a year but in that time I made some great friends and saw some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever witnessed so far. This shot comes from Mission, SD -- just outside of the Rosebud Reservation -- during a recent drive back up. I was listening to an audiobook copy of The Alchemist so of course I had to pull over and shoot this "good omen."
